| Job Title: Account Director
Based at: Victoria, London SW1
Reporting to: Head of Consulting
Salary: £TBC plus flexible benefits, performance driven bonus and potential for share options.
Job Purpose Summary
The Account Director role is primarily a new business sales role, with an element of strategic responsibility for large clients. Whilst the majority of the sales activity is expected to be in the South East, the role will require regular travel nationwide.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Winning new business against a sales revenue target;
Lead generation;
Cold calling;
Face to face sales presentations;
Seminar presentations;
Accurate forecasting;
Strategic management of key clients;
Presentations to client employees, and other communications activity;
Identifying and driving vertical sales initiatives.
Person Profile
Personality - A team player with exceptional organisational skills; the successful candidate will need to thrive in a high-pressure sales environment, where the ability to work flexible hours is essential.
Specific Job Skills
The successful candidate will be:
- A strong closer with at least 8 years proven track record of exceeding sales targets;
- Self motivated to generate their own leads and not to rely on inbound leads;
- An excellent communicator regardless of the seniority of the audience;
- An excellent presenter;
- Methodical and disciplined in all aspect of selling;
- Driven to succeed, regardless of obstacles and challenges;
- A well rounded sales professional;
- IT literate with a good knowledge of MS-Office and Business Software Applications - preferably Web Based;
- Full Drivers Licence.
Advantageous but non-essential skills
- Knowledge and understanding of CRM systems (experience of SalesForce.Com is desirable);
- Knowledge of the employee benefits industry;
- Regulated by the Financial Service Authority.
