Account Manager

Thomsons Online Benefits is a fast growing technology and consulting business with offices in London and Singapore. Due to our growing success, an exciting inhouse opportunity has arisen within the client services team for a talented and ambitious account manager.

Their main responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the management of the initial delivery to ensure the project runs smoothly  between the various parts of TOB;

• Maintain regular and proactive  contact with the Client; keep Client up to date with both benefit and legislation changes and technology upgrades;

• Review Client satisfaction through the net promoter score (NPS);

• Deliver presentations,seminars and face to face employee meetings as required by the Client;

• Deliver group risk recommendation reports to the Client in a timely manner;

• Build strong, sustainable relationships with benefit providers through trust in order to influence positive outcomes to client queries;

• Up-sell new employee benefits, functionality and services;

• Up-sell additional technology modules

The individual will possess the following capabilities:

• Client relationship building
• Customer service/answering and resolving client queries.
• Confident use of Excel (for validating, reconciling and identifying exceptions)
• Excellent database skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Confident liaising with clients at all levels

Desirable but not essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience of Employee Benefits Schemes
• A background in Benefits, Payroll or Accounts
• FPC Qualification (Financial Planning Certificate)
• Financial services background and goals to develop within the industry
• Administration of group risk or pension benefits
• An understanding of the pension, and insurance benefits
• The ability to write Excel formulas and database queries
• Bi/multilingual (French, German, Spanish)
