Client Services Associate

Thomsons Online Benefits is a fast growing technology and consulting business with offices in London and Singapore. Due to our growing success, an exciting inhouse opportunity has arisen within the client services team for a talented and ambitious individual.

Their main responsibilities will include:

• Answering inbound enquiries from members, clients and providers;
• To assist in the administration of a range of Flexible Employee Benefit Schemes;
• To include monthly process cycles of database updating, reporting to payroll and benefit providers;
• Liaison with client contacts and chasing outstanding paperwork from clients and providers;
• Liaison with benefit providers;
• Enrolling new members into the scheme;
• Pension transfer process - comparative illustrations;
• Populating database with client details- collating employee data;
• Account management - confirmation of schedules and payments;
• Set up new members;
• Managing administration for a portfolio of clients;
• Pro active client servicing

The individual will possess the following capabilities:

• Experience working in demanding administration environment
• Client relationship building
• Customer service/answering and resolving client queries.
• Confident user of Excel (for validating, reconciling and identifying exceptions)
• Excellent database skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Confident liaising with clients at all levels

Desirable but not essential Skills and Experience:

• An understanding of the principles of payroll (detailed knowledge not needed, but an understanding of the concept and issues)
• An understanding of the pension, and insurance benefits
• The ability to write Excel formulas and database queries
• Bi/multilingual (French, German, Spanish)
