Implementation Consultant

Job Role:

• Configuration of the in-house Perquisite™ software platform to defined client requirements
• Hands-on project management of all aspects of a client implementation using a pre-defined delivery process as a guide
• Working as part of a wider team with Sales Consultants, Product Development & Customer Services teams to ensure that Implementation is delivered to a high quality and to client satisfaction

Essential Skills:

Client Management

• Proven experience in a hands-on client delivery role including identifying risks & issues, setting expectations, relationship building, managing scope & sign-off and progress reporting
• Proven experience of being the key contact for external clients during the delivery of IT projects
• Significant experience of client requirement definition using workshops & documentation
• Excellent communication skills: both written and spoken

Technical

• Significant experience of product configuration or IT systems development
• Understanding of Unit and User Acceptance Testing
• MS Excel for data analysis

Project Management

• Understanding and experience of delivery methodologies
• Experience of creation of project plans & managing delivery to deadlines against this plan including prioritisation of tasks & dependencies
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects at one time

General

• Experience or desire to work in a small, growing company
• Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent in any discipline, although technical degree prefered

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of benefits market, e.g. Pension, Group Risk, Medical products
• Basic MS Project
