Job Title: Sales Support Executive
Based at: Victoria, London SW1
Reporting to: Head of Consulting
Salary: £20,000 plus flexible benefits and performance related bonus.
Job Purpose Summary
The Sales Support Executive is an understudy sales consulting role. The primary role of the Sales Support Executive is to ensure the Sales Consultants do not get embroiled in too many administrative tasks and to support the team into driving more revenue into the business.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Database cleansing
Tele-sales / cold calling
Demo website setup
KPI analysis and reporting on Sales Consultant activity
Data analysis
Liaising with benefit providers
Presentations to client employees
Benefit enrolments
Person Profile
Personality - A team player with exceptional organisational skills; the successful candidate will need to thrive in a high-pressure support environment, where the ability to work flexible hours is essential. The successful candidate will want to learn as much as possible about all aspects of sales as this job provides an excellent foundation and stepping stone into a sales consulting role. It is essential that they have a 'can do' attitude and getting stuck in is a must. Those that are afraid of the phone or who are not hungry for sales success need not apply.
Specific Job Skills - The successful candidate will understand the importance of meeting timescales, attention to detail, and exceeding client expectations. The following are more specific requirements:
- IT literacy is essential including MS-Office and web-browsing;
- Literacy and numeracy.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to obtain a number of financial services qualifications to prepare them for advancement into the Sales Consulting role.
