Flexible benefits scheme taken up at building firm Building company Rok has revealed that over a third of its employees have signed up to its flexible benefits scheme.
The firm has reported that over 1,300 of those eligible for the benefits have taken them up, with around 500 members of staff signing up to the holiday trading programme.
Richard Sadler, head of reward at Rok, told Employeebenefits.co.uk that after some initial confusion over the benefits, staff were now taking advantage of them.
"There were quite a lot of misconceptions about the detail of benefits which stopped people from taking them up, so we've made a lot of effort to make sure to put the key messages across without trying to bombard people with information," he said.
Included in the company's flexible programme are health screening, dental cover, critical illness cover and a stakeholder pension scheme amongst other things.
Rok works in the building and maintenance of commercial, retail and social housing building projects.
